YOB is an American doom/stoner metal band formed 1996 in Eugene, Oregon by singer and guitarist Mike Scheidt, bassist Aaron Rieseberg, and drummer Travis Foster. The band split in 2006 but was reformed by Scheidt and Foster in 2008 and have gone on to release Eight studio albums and Two live albums to date. Outstanding recordings include The illusion of Motion, The Unreal Never Lived, The Great Cessation and Clearing a Path to Ascend.
