Keigo Oyamada aka Cornelius is a Japanese musician and producer born 1969 in Tokyo. Cornelius co-founded influential Shibuya-kei band Flipper's Guitar and was a member of Fishmans offshoot, Fishmans+. He has also been a member of Yoko Ono's Plastic Ono Band since 2009. Cornelius embarked on a solo career in the mid '90s and to-date has released fifteen albums including several film soundtracks and the highly regarded '97 release Fantasma. Cornelius's musical style has been described as "exotica-noise-electronica-lounge-pop" with influences as far ranging as Beck, The Beach Boys, The Jesus and Mary Chain and Primal Scream. Standout albums include The First Question Award, Fantasma, Point and Mellow Waves.
